I have no idea whether what I am saying is right. Not important. I decided to learn German. I will listen to German for 30 minutes every day. At the moment I do not care about grammar. I want to talk to people. I'm going to share my experience with you :)

Ich mag dieses Lied.

A bald!

You don't have to be a rock star to change something

I hate when people are telling me "I don't have the power to change anything. I am not rich, I am not strong, I am not famous, I am just a regular person" B u l l s h i t

The total world population is 7.093 billion people. It includes people from the poorest regions of Africa, but also you and me. Being part of these 7.093 billion people means that if you change something, it will affect the whole. Even by less than 0.00000001%. It still does.

Now, imagine that you convince your friends to do the same. What do we have? An increasing success.

So, stop over-estimating yourself and start working on the cause you think is important.

You want an idea?

Food waste is a huge problem. Farmers and supermarkets may be a big part of it but what happens behind the walls of your house is also important.

So, first step in your way to changing the world - stop wasting food.

The truth about food 1/6

I found this BBC documentary a few days ago and I thought it is worth sharing. People love telling other people how to live, what to eat and this documentary pretty much destroys half of the theories. This is the first video from the series:

If you don't have time to watch it, here is a quick summary of what is true:

Eating raw fruits and vegetables does really help improving your health.
Eating garlic can help you lift the little friend (raw!)
Eating fibers increase the speed of food processing (downfall: also the visits to the toilet)

Little paradise in the heart of the city

Today I enjoyed a family paradise at home. No rain, no problems, just a sunny Sunday : )

Dad was cutting the grass

 Mom was planting flowers

The Pig (his real name is Misho) ... well he was just being himself

So ... what did I do?

I have never been into gardening (or cooking in the matter of fact) before this blog but today while my parents were "working" and I was copying the laziness of the cat, I thought that I should do something more active as well. 2 minutes later I was picking morellos from the tree in our backyard.

In less than an hour I gathered five of these:

What am I going to do with them? My plan is to make some jelly - the first one in my life. We will see how it goes ... I will share

So what did you do today?

Zucchini gratin

Some food porn is always good for the soul. The zucchini gratin is the lighter summery version of my favorite Potato gratin and it is super delicious.

Products:
2 zucchinis
2 eggs
200-300 gr goat cheese
spices: oregano and black pepper

Peel and slice the zucchinis. (medium-thick slices 0.5-1 cm) Drop them into boiling salted water and leave them for 5-6 minutes. Meanwhile mix the remaining ingredients into a bowl. When the courgettes start to soften move them into a tray and add the remaining products. Bake the gratin until it forms a golden crust. Bon appetit!

I like to eat the gratin with a homemade sauce. In Bulgaria we use a special type of milk (kiselo mlyako) but you can use fromage blanc or if you know any substitute of it.

for the sauce you will need:
kiselo mlyako/fromage blanc
dill
a little bit of olive oil
salt
garlic powder

Just mix everything together and voilà. Enjoy : )
